About the building

The building - designed by ing. Arch. Jan Aulík of Studio A - has three elevated and three underground floors. The overall amount of commercial space totals 5,000 square metres and the building's parking lots can accommodate up to 190 cars. The new Brumlovka has been opened to the public since April 2007.

Brumlovka is very interesting not only because of its special perforated façade that changes its colour depending on your angle of view and the angle of the sun's reflection but also because of its modern interior warranting the highest level of comfort and convenience in all sections.

The history of Brumlovka

began in 1992 when Sky Club Brumlovka, s.r.o. won a public tender for the rental of the former Dům pohybové kultury (Physical Culture Building).

The public also knows Brumlovka from various television programs, such as the first series of "Česko hledá Superstar", "Rozjezdy pro hvězdy", "XXL", "Český bodyguard", "Miliónová babička" (all produced by TV NOVA), "Motorshow" or "Na scénu" (produced by TV PRIMA).

The construction of the new Brumlovka began in the summer of 2005 on the site of the original building, which had no longer been able to meet new sports and service requirements and needs in the area of Prague 4 - Michle. The project was implemented and financed by BBC Nová Brumlovka, a.s. whose shareholders included PASSERINVEST GROUP, a.s. and MULTIPROJEKT GROUP, a.s.
